Oh I've seen you in the Blind People community. And u, that's an interesting way to describe it. Yes, I have one too and I love it. I recently went through some serious withdrawal when the site went down and haven't been able to update up until a few hours ago. My username is kerrisayshi and there's a link to mine in my profile. I have one, it's a private journal. But I have a journal for my website and 3 communities to go with it. You can add any or all of these journal usernames to your friends list and I'll do the same. username: blindvi, communities: rp_room, braille_talk and vi_place.

Well I guess my journal is still there, but I haven't updated it in a long time, I haven't even been on the site in a few months. I didn't really have all that much to write about, and I didn't have anything in common with anyone on there, and the communities were just barely active, so I just haven't felt motivated to go back there in a while. My user name is wonderqueen on there, wonderwoman was taken so I had to settle for wonderqueen. Oh well, I sort of like being a queen, I just don't know what I'm queen of, lol.

well it's better than a private journal. I just couldn't see having a private journal that only I would read. I would already know what's in it. I don't know, it just got away from me and I just haven't been motivated to go back in a while. There was one woman who replied to almost every entry I wrote, especially when I was posting my story on there, but since I haven't been back, I didn't finish it over there. And after one woman was sort of picky about the way I did it, I took all the sighted people on my friends list off, only thing is, that just takes them off your list where you can't see their journals unless you look them up, but it didn't take me off her list. She responded to one of my entries like, journaling is not like chatting, we mostly just skim from one paragraph till we come to something that catches our eye. Try not to make your replies too long, separate your paragraphs. I replied back and told her if she didn't like my journal, she could remove me from her friends list, I didn't tell her how to write her journal. Well she was taken aback I think, and she totally turned around and was like, honey, I don't hate your journal, I like reading you, I was suggesting you separate your paragraphs thats all, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I just said, ok, no problem. But I felt like I was in secretarial school or something. Well when I started that story, and the others gave it good comments, I put most of them back on my friends page, but I didn't put her back. There isn't a way you can remove yourself from peoples friend page.

Two things though:
1. If you don't have a sence of humor, are easily offended, don't like strong views/opinions don't bother reading it.
2. A lot, if not most entries are "friends only", you can add me and I may add you back. If you do, it'd be nice to say something about your self so I know who you are, either through contacting me via here, or via writing me an e-mail, adding to an instant messenger or commenting in one of my public entries. You can find all the relevant contact details either on the profile here or in the LJ profile.
3. If I do add you, just because I added you to my LJ or one of my messengers, does not in any way mean that I won't delete you, if you turn out to be annoying/boringand/or we don't have much in common, you'll probablly be gone. I'm not trying to be hostile or anything, but I have noticed from previous expriences on here that there is a number, although at least to my knowledge small number of people who assume just because I said hi to them that I'd be their best friend even though the conversations with them don't go beyond "hi" and "how are you" and if I'm lucky they might ask what the weather's like. Now, haveing said all this, enjoy my journal if you can and maybe even talk to some of you soon.
